Akil Brooks

Akil spent his teenage years tinkering with computer art and game programming before majoring in information technology at Macon State College (where he also haunted the library as a tutor). Following an internship at a video production shop, he moved to Atlanta to pursue a graduate program in digital media, but instead worked in software development for a number of years. He eventually had the opportunity to attend graduate school at Georgia State University and studied theory and history of film, video, and digital imaging. He divided his time between academia and technology for a while before deciding to return to tech full-time.
